Mineola female broken for allegedly stealing jewelry from City Park Home

A woman who worked as her Mineola cleaners were arrested Wednesday for allegedly stealing about $ 7,500 worth of jewelry from residents of Garden City House and sell some of the results to local pawn shops, according to the Nassau County Police.

Garden City Detectives arrested Maria Macedo, 54, of Mineola, on the basis of the investigation that is underway between the Department of police of Garden City, Nassau County Police Squad and Nassau County’s third special investigation squad.

State police Macedo was employed by women victims, 39, between 1 January 2011 and 12 September 2011. The victim’s mother, 83, also used Macedo to clean housing, which is also located in City Park.

The police stated that during this time period the defendant removed jewelry from the House.
